Japanese maple is popular tree for the spread of bonsai tree. There are three types of Japanese maple. It is Acer Palmatum amoenum, Palmatum Palmatum and acer Palmatum matsumurae. Palmatum is the most common Subspecie and generally colored either green or red. The General variety is green. Amoenum has large leaves. Therefore, it is not suitable for growing bonsai. Matsumurae has a beautiful orange tree leaves, but it thrive in Japan Heights altitude that will not grow well anywhere. The second is Asia Maple originated from Korea and China. It seems almost same with Japanese maple. The difference is in the state where it is grown for the first time.
